Not sure if it's a bug or if I'm misunderstanding the mod but every shiny assembling machine has the same crafting speed of 3.5, doesn't matter if it's an uncommon, rare, epic or legendary shiny, they're all the same stats.
Correct. This is intentional. All shiny variants are slightly better than what you would find in the current breacket (e.g. slightly better than legendary or slightly better than artifactual) depending on how you are playing.
There will be a settings menu that will be launched shortly that will let you tweak this to your hearts content.
