Pollution Solutions deprecated

This makes Factorio more fun by turning pollution and combat into an interconnected system you actively engage with, instead of just tossing down laser turrets and forgetting about both. This minimalist mod stays close to the vanilla experience, adding only what's necessary to accomplish these goals.

g Pollution Collector not doing anything? Space Exploration incompatibility?

I assume the Pollution Collector should begin filling with pollution automatically. But when I plop one down it does nothing.

No error symbols are displayed.

The tooltip shows that everything in your mod is being altered by the Space Exploration mod, but, again, there is nothing about this in the notes for either mod...

Your mod seems amazing, man! Hope we can get it working!

I have the same problem and I am not running space exploration. I plopped the collector down, nothing happens. I connected pipes to it and nothing happens. Does it need a sink (e.g. chem plant) or something like that? Do I see correctly it does not need electricity?

So I tested this without any other mods. They do collect pollution, but very slowly.

Though I was surprised that I could see no effect on the pollution cloud on the map and that they were not listed as consumers of pollution in the production charts. I thought they are supposed to actually reduce pollution by the amount they captured?

I tested this by completely sourrounding miners with them.

After further experimentation: There is a map specific mod settings that sets a lower bound the amount of pollution that can be collected from a chunk called "Pollution Remaining". Appearently the pollution in a chunk will not be collected if there is less then this amount in it. Hence, why it seems that the collectors are not working in a "low" pollution environment. If you set that value to zero they collect everything very effective.

But it still appears that they don't show up in the pollution tab of the production statistics.

What is the actual setting you need to update ? I have been looking at the api site without much success
