I know using the carry size is super OP but if you have say 100% mining productivity researched maybe the construction bots should mine 2 for the cost of 1 to the ore patch, the downside being you have to get to the round numbers to get the productivity bonus (if you're not handling it in another way)
Mining productivity reduces the amount of ore consumed when mined. It still extends the life of the patch, but it does not speed up mining in the same way it does for electric mining drills. Peppermint mining already benefits from being able to throw an arbitrary number of construction bots to mine at silly speed.
