While in the originasl nuclear science mod the packs are heavy limited by U235, that author choose to use limited crafts of the nuclear science pack for the kovarex enrichment. so indeed as you state 25 crafts for the nuclear science pack, but 500 crafts for the blue one, and 1000 for red and green and 250 for the space science. Therefore your argument for the 60 times the SPM only applies on the nuclear science. and not for the other sciences anyway.
I tried to made the nuclear science pack more in line with normal science packs, as its no longer restricted by U235, and you can basically immediately start making this pack. And it is not bottlenecked by U235 like in the original mod. But re-evaluating my numbers did reveal:
The 1500 number comes from the base game, which i might have mistakenly chosen opposed to 1000 which is the number for vanilla space age. So I will consider that.
Also I did some further calculation and indeed perhaps its a bit too pricy in terms of the huge amount of throughput you need for even 50 SPM:
it would require 5000 Uranium ore per minute right now, and like 120 centrifuges or to support this whole process.
Therefore I'm thinking of the following changes:
- 2 U238 instead of 10 for 1 nuclear science pack
- Kovarex cost to 1000, just like space age vanilla
That way with 50 SPM it would take 20 mins to research kovarex enrichemnt.
