No Liquid Depletion is a lightweight mod that ensures infinite liquid resources such as crude oil patches in vanilla Factorio and sulfuric acid geysers in the Space Age expansion maintain their maximum yield indefinitely. Normally, these resources gradually deplete over time, reducing extraction rates and requiring players to seek out new patches or use yield modules. This mod eliminates that mechanic by setting the infinite_depletion_amount to 0, preventing any yield drop entirely, keeping the resources "infinite".

Key Features:

  • Constant Maximum Yield: Pumpjacks will always extract at the patch's initial rate (e.g., a rich 1000% oil patch stays at 1000% forever).
  • Automatic Refills for Existing Saves: When the mod is added or updated, it scans and resets all depleted liquid patches to their original amounts. New chunks and surfaces (e.g., new planets) are also handled automatically.
  • Compatibility:
  • Works seamlessly with vanilla Factorio 2.0+ and the Space Age expansion (including geysers on Vulcanus).
  • Supports modded infinite fluids that produce "fluid" types (e.g., from mods like Krastorio 2 or Space Exploration).
  • No conflicts with most mods, tested on servers and single-player.
  • Performance: Zero runtime overhead changes are applied at load or on rare events like chunk generation. No ticking scripts!

This mod is ideal for players who want to focus on building massive factories without the hassle of managing depleting oil fields or geysers. It's not a "cheat" that adds infinite resources everywhere—just preserves the starting yield of liquids for endless, hassle-free production. If you're tired of yield dropping to 10% and scouting for new patches, this is for you!

Note: Does not affect finite ores or non-fluid resources.
