b Module sorting doesn't seem to work with beacons

Hi,

as the title says...
I'm using bob's Beacon 3 with a green module defined in slot 1, and speed modules in slots 2-6.
When inserting the modules, the green module will always be placed to slot 6.
Oh, bad OCDness!

It works for me. Try selecting the beacons with the module inserter tool again, this should instantly sort them if all modules are inside already.

If it happens again please upload a save.

It was my bad: after pressing "Apply changes", it worked. Must have forgotten after recent changes...

I've been long thinking about the need to click the button to save the changes. At this point it is mostly still there because it has always been that way.
But since almost everything in vanilla Factorio is applied as soon as you change it, I might add an option to just do that (or make "E" act as confirmation as it does now in vanilla when setting up logistics requests). Not sure though yet

Yes, both options are worth considering... "Apply changes" can be a reminder to also save/update settings (it is for me :-) ), but simply using "E" is, as you said, more consistent to the whole game... Good thing is: there's no "wrong or right" or "good or bad". It's up to you :-))
You could also let users decide how to handle it with a mod setting... :-)
