Prior to .15, gun turrets had a damage modifier of 2. They removed that for .15, so wondering if you wanted to relook at your modifier of 3.15? Makes it so that this turret is (when taking rate of fire into consideration) putting out close to double DPS (whereas your description mentions a lower DPS).
Hi, sorry for the late reply. Running the numbers again and you're correct, with the new values the DPS is far overtuned compared to the normal gun turret.
I'm not sure how I feel about addressing this as bringing it in line with the new gun turrets might actually make it less DPS than lasers, and in my mind that's not a fair tradeoff for an ammo consumer. I'll need to play with numbers a bit and see how things work out...
