Kessler Syndrome: Scrapsteroids Above Fulgora

Fulgora’s orbit is now packed with dangerous Scrapsteroids, leftovers from an ancient chain-reaction disaster that wrecked everything in Fulgoran orbit. Even reaching Fulgora early on is rough since the debris is insanely dense, but if you bring the right ships you can process it into valuable scrap in orbit, with some unexpected radioactive bonuses. It turns Fulgora into a risky but worthwhile spot if you’re willing to deal with the chaos.

Kessler Syndrome: Scrapsteroids above Fulgora!
Fulgoran Orbit just became a lot more hostile. The questions concerning the demise of the Fulgoran Precursors has had an interesting development. It looks like an intense buildup of orbital stations and uranium processing plants in Low Fulgoran Orbit (LFO), at some point in the distant past, led to a cascade of collisions that rendered nearby space inhospitable. While things have calmed down since them, Fulgoran Space is still littered with countless Scrapsteroids.

The gameplay implications of Fulgoran Kessler Syndrome are a double edged sword. Early game, accessing Fulgora is MUCH harder, as small and medium size Scrapsteroids are so dense you can nearly swim through them. However, specialized garbage processing ships have access to many unique opportunities: Basic Scrapsteroid Processing and Geiger Scrapsteroid Processing yield Fulgoran Scrap (and some other surprise goodies) that enable very diverse orbital manufacturing. Can you conquer an environment so hostile is drove the Fulgorans extinct?
(Warning: When adding to an existing save make sure ships on any approach path to Fulgora can handle the extra pressure, or reroute ones bound for Aquillo onto the Gleba path.)
