Is there some way to unlock any of the solid fuel recipes, from what I can tell there are no techs that unlock it at all. Unless Im missing something?

I am also unable to make anything into sulfur, just noticed that too. Ie I cant convert hydrogen sulfide into anything.

It looks like the Ammonia one on Aquilo can still be unlocked just fine. And as the only thing it's needed for is something unlocked on Aquilo, this seems fine? It's quite intentional that Solid Fuel isn't a thing in this mod.

You should be able to make sulfur from the sulfide after researching Sulfur Processing, the same tech that lets you treat all the oil fluids

I can see the recipes for solid fuel and sulfur in the factoripedia, I have the tech unlocked I just cant select the recipes in the chemical plants..... by not select them I mean they do not appear in the chemical plants as a selectable recipe.

I do have some changes locally that I haven't updated yet, but nothing that would do anything for this.

What factorio version are you using, and are all your mods updated?

latest version for everything, standard version of factorio as far as I can tell. Its really frustrating as I can get around everything else (like solid fuel) I just cant progress without sulfur lol

I see sulfur now, no solid fuel still. Im guessing this might be a feature? However rocket fuel seems to require solid fuel and naptha to craft?

That recipe should be gone, replaced with other rocketfuel recipes based on Kerosene, Hydrogen, and Methane.

hmm I dont see it, the rocket fuel tech just shows the naptha and solid fuel one. I havent unlocked it myself yet though
