Item Giver Gui 3

Unofficial community-maintained continuation of Item Giver Gui, updated for Factorio 2.1.

Item Giver Gui adds a compact in-game window that lets you search for items by prototype name and give them to, or remove them from, your character inventory.

The current continuation also supports item quality selection.

Controls

Open or close the Item Giver Gui with:

Shift + Enter

Numpad alternative:

Shift + Numpad Enter

The shortcut can be changed under:

Settings → Controls → Mods → Toggle Giver Gui

Usage

1. Press Shift + Enter to open the interface.
2. Enter part of an item's internal prototype name.
3. Select an item from the autocomplete results.
4. Enter the desired quantity.
5. Select the desired quality.
6. Press Give or Remove.

The mod uses internal Factorio item prototype names when searching.

Project history and credits

Item Giver Gui 3 exists because several community maintainers kept the original mod working across later Factorio releases.

Unofficial continuation

This is not an official release by the original author.

It is maintained to keep the mod usable on current Factorio versions.

If an earlier maintainer returns and wishes to resume development, attribution, archival, redirection or transfer can be discussed through the GitHub repository.
