Infinite Resources: Normal Yield & Depletion

Endless solid resources with normal mining yields. Depleted deposits become infinite at 100% yield, with configurable depletion, exclusions and starting-area rules. Optional infinite lithium brine conversion. Compatible with Infinite Fluid Resource Refill. Based on FuryoftheStars’ GPLv3 original.

Changelog

Version: 1.0.1
Date: 2026-10-23
  Features:
    - Added opt-in startup checkbox to convert finite lithium brine into an infinite resource after depletion.
    - Added resource ownership coordination via mod-data for InfiniteFluidResourceRefill 1.0.2.
  Compatibility:
    - New fluid resources are not converted by default (solid resources continue unchanged).
    - Retained old infinite-fluid clone prototypes to preserve existing saves from 1.0.0.
    - Retained compatibility with the resource removal tool.
    - Lithium exclusions override the new startup checkbox.
  Notes:
    - GPLv3 derivative of FuryoftheStars' original mod.
Version: 1.0.0
Date: 2026-10-23
  Features:
    - Factorio 2.1 release maintained by Le_Secret.
    - English and Russian localization, new original cover artwork.
    - Verified API calls against Factorio 2.1.23 stable; changed selection tool to use the supported not-stackable item flag.
    - Normal selection only deletes this mod's infinite resources; alternate selection can delete all infinite resources.
  Changes:
    - Replaced hidden technology, hidden dummy items and give-item effects with Factorio 2.1 mod-data.
    - Explicit resource registry avoids touching incompatible or unrelated infinite resource types.
    - Safer starting-area changes: existing converted tiles are preserved by default; destructive deletion is opt-in.
    - Late prototype generation in data-final-fixes with trimmed resource exclusions.
    - Reused original -infinite prototype names to preserve compatible converted tiles in existing saves.
  Bugfixes:
    - Minimum resource amount cannot round down to zero.
    - Depletion-rate changes cannot leave existing infinite tiles above 100% yield after configuration changes.
    - Guarded RSO detection and basic validity checks.
  Licensing:
    - Derived from FuryoftheStars' Infinite Resources - Normal Yields (with optional depletion), GPLv3.
