New:
- Some technologies aren't researched by labs but are unlocked via inspiration.
- Inspiration occurs when you handle or produce a new material, or complete a combination of prerequisite techs.
- A fresh IR3 start is recommended. This add-on was not designed to be added mid-game.
Changes:
- Most IR3 material milestone techs are split into two, e.g. smelting (regular research) and metalworking (inspiration).
- Default starting conditions ("Stone"): you get no starting items, know no recipes, and only get scrap from junkpiles.
Compatibility:
- Industrial Revolution 3.1.26 or above is required.
- Factorio stable version 1.1.107 or above is required.
