Is it possible to add Signals to the displayable things?
I would like to use these to write down text or numbers

It is possible, but it just makes the GUI even more complicated.

I use the mod "Text Plates" for that purpose, it's much better suited.

I use Attach Notes for this. you can place all signs.

But a plate would also be nice.

Once I get around reworking the plates to use the factorio base game item picker, this should be easy to add.
