IR compatibility mods deprecated


Changes the research and recipes of severaly mod to make it work with Industrial revolution, including: quarry and repair turrets. Am open for other mods that don't work well or you want to make it more in line with Deadlock989's industrial revolution

i Compatibility with Additional Turrets

If possible, I would request a compatibility with the mod Additional Turrets (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Additional-Turret-updated).

The idea here is to playa death world with Industrial revolution and some alien mods like Natural Evolution, Rampant, Rampant Arsenal, Explosive Bitters, etc. They work well.

The thing is, most of the tech that are able to actually kill the bases are locket after Iron Tech and Military Tech, which is almost impossible to get because the iron patches are usually beneath some base, and the Shoot Gun turret is no match for any worm and can't kill any Natural Evolution bases.

I was testing with some other mods that add additional military tech to early game. The additional turrets mods has some interesting turrets early on that would do the job, but, the game crash in a loop error at the sulfuric acid recipe for the "piranhas solution"

An recipe that would do the job would be change the Steel from the first Cannon Turret to Some kind of Bronze, and the Turret for the Shoot Gun Turret that is available . The mod already add a early Cannon shell. It has a good rang and is not good for just killing wavs, which would make it a very good starting option for killing bases. The technology is locked behind Military Science which would make it a problem as it require Iron. In short if possible the changes needed would be

  • Recipe for the Cannon Turret, change from Steel to Reinforced Bronze Plates, and change the Turret for the Scatter Gun Turret
  • Change to the Technology, unlocked with Military (Unlock the cannon and the cannon shell)
  • Change to the cannon shell so it uses Bronze Plate instead of Iron (or Reinforced Bronze Plate)

Sure if possible one option to enable/disable it so those who doesn't want this in a normal world would be able to disable it
