I do play with some other mods so potentially the conflict is on that end, will start disabling/enabling stuff and update if I resolve it.
Ok so apparently this is an incompatibility when Disco Science and Hive Mind are both enabled, the game reports that Hive Mind is causing the error because it loads later in my load order.
