Adds advanced gun turret which has 800 hit points and 22 range but costs some steel and a red circuit to make. It's a very simple upgrade that doesn't make gun turrets any more powerful, but simply enables them to remain competitive in the later game when you have more advanced turrets with more hit points and range.
My thinking behind this is that in the late game, gun turret damage is very competitive, and their primary difficulty is how easily they are destroyed. Their range being barely longer than spitters aggravates this further. With a small range and hit point bonus, even with range and hit points remaining lower than laser turrets, their damage has a chance to shine without you constantly losing and replacing turrets.
0.1.3 AGT now gains bonus from gun turret damage research, but only if it is researched while the mod is installed.
0.1.2 The mod works but the advanced gun turret does not gain a bonus from gun turret damage upgrade research.
0.1.0 This mod is still under construction and not currently functional.
