or please show me how to edit the mod myself so i cant do it :) as is its causes major lag attempting to use it in multiplayer after about an hour is nearly hopeless...

I've started the complete new version of this mod, but it needs time, a lot of time.

You can edit this mod just with Notepad++ and understanding how the lua works.

I want to make the growing ore by the polluted chunks only, may be with the ore obelisk in the middle of ore patch.

that sounds much better, that would definitely keep the lag down when you have over exploitative players :P

i currently have the ores generate in random amounts between 10 and 1000, kinda wish i was good enough to make the amount range base on the ores richness....

Could you simply measure the ore amounts in the 4-8 neighbouring tiles and set the new amount's range based on that?

Yes, but I want to implement ore cores, where comes new ores from. Old ores must growing too, but the probability must be not same, higher for reach ores and sometimes spread out of ore patch.
