I would like to know if there will be an update of this wonderful mod to version 0.17?

I sort of didn't update it on purpose to get a sense whether it is still needed.

What features of Foreman are you using?

The blueprint storing seems completely useless since vanilla has the library.
If you are only after the mirroring you might want to try https://mods.factorio.com/mod/BlueprintExtensions (also has some nice other features)
The only thing for which i don't know an alternative mod is upgrading belts/other entities. Which also doesn't seem that necessary anymore since Upgrade Planner is now vanilla.

Unless you got some new feature request i might actually just ask the author of BlueprintExtensions to include the upgrade functionality

As i just learned, you can even apply an upgrade planner to a blueprint in vanilla factorio now: https://wiki.factorio.com/Upgrade_planner#Updating_blueprints

So to me Foreman seems completely obsolete now. Thoughts?

Thanks, I needed mirror copies, I will use BlueprintExtensions.
But thanks anyway for your mod, it really was great!

No problem, it was great, but it really is obsolete now.

Unless someone comes up with an idea for some new fancy feature that deals with blueprint manipulation, i will most likely deprecate it in a while
