Friend and I like the mod, but it hadn't updated for Space Age yet. Last update was 4 years ago, it had the Unlicense on it so I spent a few days learning modding and updated it. If you want to take over then by all means.
it wasn't necessary to update as it wasn't requested and I personally don't use bots at the moment ;-)
