Isn't this completely unneeded now with the 2.0 fish recipie and the ability to put fish iback in water?
Yes, but mods like K2SE require a lot of fish. Yes, they have their own recipes, but these are deep in the tech tree. And in the base game, it's not possible to farm fish.
