Factory Search

Search your factory for items, fluids, entities, signals, tags and more with Shift + F. Displays a list of matching buildings: clicking on a result opens it in the map. Can search all planets/surfaces (Space Age, Space Exploration, etc). Alt + Shift + Click on anything (e.g. built entity, inventory item, recipe) to open the search with that item selected. Similar to BeastFinder and Where is it Made?

i [Denied] Add searching for train stations with the same name

For example, rn i need to change params on 20 stations with the same name and to do that i need to go into the train window, scroll for a station group, scroll to the station i need (btw and then the train window closes and i need to repeat this ad nauseam). The process is so unnecessarily painful compared to if it was a Factory Search feature where you'd pin the window and jump between all stations momentarily.

I think the vanilla search added in 2.0 does this already so that's probably your best bet.

Okay, you're right, the 2.0's remote view search doesn't disappear when you interact with the things, thanks, that solves it.
