A: Yes! All the other modules use resources that the core module provides. Furthermore, the core module has some a couple of tools built right into it.

A: Let's use an example, 1.0101.17 (A.bbcc.DD) how about we break this down!
"A" is for the official mod version,
"bb" is for major changes or fixes iteration,
"cc" is for minor changes or fixes iteration,
"DD" is the compatible Factorio version.
