Or do you sometimes want to be left in peace to build your factories, but find peaceful mode a little too easy? No, It is hardcoded into the mod.

By editing it in the .lua file it can be altered, but I'd rather prefer a mod setup settings in-game.
Oh well.

I just made the mod compatible with the latest versions. The original mod owner abandoned it a long time ago and I am not enough experienced to make it handle it in the mod startup. I personally wanted to use this mod and made it available to everyone. But if you know how to do it you are welcome to be co-modifier here.

Unfortunately I only know how to change some values in .lua settings.
Can't say I know much about coding.
