Why make the walls full colors ?
this is how i wouldve made it .. i can make the walls for you if i have the vanilla model

The walls are just using the default wall sprites with a tint color over them. Would be nice to have custom sprites for the walls so that way its a bit more unique. The image you posted is definitely nice, but feels like it would be hard to notice between normal walls or the other versions of regenerative walls at a quick glace - at least for me.

I have the same request. If anything, any chance to add (sorry, i really do NOT know how to help) where we can set the value for the colour? (you know how we do for character and train). Since like that, we can ajust more or less.

Also, i don't get it. Are people using so many gates that the issue matters? Usually i have it for trains. I mean, if I want to move my (non flying) character pass a solid wall, i only need to temporary mark them for deconstruction (just that, marked) and i can pass, and them undo the marking (aka no bots needed).

And otherwise, i don't know any reason to mix the walls unless you are short on materials or something

Update: wow... I can't belive how simple the solution is... I opened the lua files and the very very 1st line is the tin collor.... all values set to 1 = no colour change (again, i don't use mix walls types. So i really don't need a way to tell them apart since the upgrade planer works perfectly).

Thank you for this mod because it's so much better for bots and everything
