This is not battle-tested but it does have a few features I saw requested on these boards.

1) Adjustable settings. You can tweak
- the amount of wear applied by walking
- the max amount of wear
- the speed of regeneration of wear

2) The wear applied by cars and tanks is a function of their (speed *weight). So your big tank leaves a big path but walking of foot requires you to walk the same path several times before the wear becomes apparent.

This is just me getting my feet wet in the mod scene. I wanted to give mylon right of first refusal before I submitted a mod with such minor changes. Also, I don't really want to maintain this forever :-)

Thanks for the great work mylon. It was really helpful as a jumping-off point into mod development.

Ok. Would you like to recommend a delineating name for my mod? some ideas...

  • "DirtPathPlusPlus" but that leaves a bad taste in my mouth... as if it is denigrating your work.
  • "DirtPath", distinguished from your mod by only my ownership... leads to confusion.
  • "DirtPathConfigurable"
  • "AdamsDirtPath"

Do you have any opinions?
