disabling damage indicator mod fixes this, assuming it is something to do with the latest version of damage indicator. Prior versions work with bob warfare

This first occurs with Version: 1.2.0 of damage indicator. Version 1.1.0 works

Here's a patched version, https://github.com/Dummiez/Factorio-DamageIndicator/releases/tag/release-1.2.2 can you see if it works before I update it on the mod portal. Can't seem to encounter this issue on my end with bob's mods installed, should be fixed in latest version.

Hey, unfortunately that did not fix the issue. Through testing it looks like it is an issue between:
combat-mechanics-overhaul 0.7.2
DamageIndicator 1.2.2
bobwarfare 2.0.5
With these 3 mods enabled it fails to load the game.
I'm guessing it is related to this mod though because, if I disable damage indicator, the game loads correctly.

My logs don't seem to show much but, here:

Could you try downloading this version if it doesn't work could you upload a copy of a saved game that has this issue? I tried using only those mods and it loads just fine I managed to replicate the error, looks like 1.2.3 did fix it

Thank you! Yes, 1.2.3 did fix it

Just wanted to point out after some more testing, apparently setting bob's warfare as an optional dependency would've fixed this without any code, as right now the patch kind of breaks a few minor display behaviors with the text, if I can't fix the display side effects then I'll probably just add it in as an optional dependency to fix this issue Added bob's warfare and combat mechanics overhaul as a load-first hidden dependency for version 1.2.3
