Load the game. There's a construction drone next to you, carrying an Induction Furnace, ready to place it where the blueprint is close by. But it's not moving. Right click the drone to pick it up, and the Induction Furnace it's carrying. A new one deploys immediately, and stands still and doesn't do anything. Well, hovering over the drone shows its speed changing, so something seems to be happening.
Standing in a different place doesn't seem to help.
