After doing some work, my initial 10 drones decided to retire, and simply roamed the map and did not respond to commands (copy/paste, deconstruction requests). I researched the tech and got a beacon and two more drones, which also refused to work until I put down a provider chest and filled it with items. The initial 10 drones however still refused to co-operate. I tried removing and re-inserting the roboport into the armour and also picking up / redeploying the drones but no luck.
