So version bumps are still needed for 2.1. Good to know.
If vanilla belts and pipes work, modded should work as well as they use the same prototype types. Tiers are detected by default max length. Belts / pipes with same default max length share a tier. Modded belts / pipes can land in lower tiers than vanilla belts / pipes if their default max length is lower (some mod has slow gray belts with just one or two tiles maximum underground length; they are detected as tier 1 while yellow belts then become tier 2).
If you run a mod which adds unaffected belts or pipes, give me the name of the mod and I will at least try to fix that (probably by adding an optional dependency because breakage is unlikely to be caused by anything but a mod changing belt or pipe prototypes loading later than mine).
