b Mod causes GPU memory crashes?

Hello. I'm noticing a recurring theme where this causes excessive lag, and eventually GPU memory loss on a 4GB GEForce 970. This appears to be related to the number of roboports I have in place, and how frequently it tries to run. Any suggestions? Right now I have 253 roboports, which in my mind, still seems pretty small, but that's the number needed to cover my currently expanded chunks.
