Ever wondered how in the world when crafting copper cables, an entire copper plate only makes 2 cables? I figured that the process is wasteful, so I made this mod to create less wasteful ways of crafting cables.

Ever wanted to make a circuit network with some handy green wires, only to find the only ones you have are red? This mod also makes red and green wires interchangeable (needs to be researched first).

Description

This mod adds technology that will unlock progressively better versions of the copper crafting recipe: upgrading from 2 to 3, then 4, 5, and finally 8 copper cables per copper plate.

This mod also adds a way to convert between red and green circuit wires, for those situations when the only wires you have are of the wrong color.

Productivity modules will work with these advanced crafting recipes EXCEPT the last one (8 cables per plate), which is too awesome to be productivitified.

Assembly machines require manual software updates. You will have to manually set each assembler to use the updated cable-making recipe each time a better tier is unlocked.

When a technology is researched, all of the obsolete recipes are hidden, so you will easily find the best one.

IMPORTANT

This mod works fine in a single player game. It works fine in sandbox mode.

PLEASE NOTE This mod should work fine with multiplayer but I haven't tested it. Everything is done per force so a PvP game should work fine. It should work with any other mod that doesn't change the copper cable recipe or enable/disable the copper cable recipe.
