Blueprint Book Shelf
Organize inventory blueprint books without closing your inventory. The shelf lists your books, including nested books, and lets you move the blueprint or book in your hand straight into a chosen destination.
How to use
- Press Ctrl+Shift+B, or click the book button at the top left, to open the shelf.
- Open your inventory and pick up a blueprint or blueprint book.
- Hover over the destination book's row inside the shelf panel.
- Press either Shift key to move the held item into that book.
Press the key after hovering over the row. Hovering over a book in the normal inventory does not select a shelf destination.
Features
- Lists main-inventory books and their nested books.
- Shows parent paths to distinguish books with the same name.
- Displays the number of items directly inside each book.
- Searches book names and paths. Latin letters are case-insensitive; other text uses exact case.
- Refreshes when your inventory or held item changes. The Refresh button also picks up changes made by other mods.
- Moves the original item, preserving blueprint data and nested-book contents.
- Prevents inserting a book into itself or its descendants. Existing contents are not overwritten.
- Movable panel and configurable keyboard shortcuts.
Requirements and compatibility
Factorio 2.1.23 or newer in the 2.1 branch. Space Age is optional. English and Russian translations are included.
Works with physical items in your inventory. Blueprint-library references must first be turned into inventory items.
Can be installed alongside Open Book Inserter: that mod targets the currently open book, while this mod targets a row in the shelf. Change bindings under Settings → Controls → Mods if they conflict with your setup.
