Support for the Outer-Rim mod would be great. Was looking forward to playing on that ring world :(

What exact "support" do you want me to add from Outer Rim?

Outer Rim seems to load with this mod installed, but it also breaks many of the space route connections. I'm also seeing dotted red lines extending from Outer Rim Planets that I would guess are supposed to be for moons.

It's things that Outer Rim mod does, I think it's better to adress this question for OR mod author

So it has been almost a month, but I got a similar problem. There is a dependency between Outer Rim and Secretas-Frozeta orbit patch, and there is a conflict between Secretas-Frozeta orbit patch and this mod, Better Planets. I don't know whether the problem is on this mod or Outer Rim, but It's clear that there is an indirect conflict between this mod and Outer Rim. Please check this. I'll ask to Outer Rim dev about the same problem.

The outer rim will get another change where planets are moved around again, not to "make it look better" but to change progression a bit to align with another mod. Me also moving paracelsin will also be a conflict between these two mods, and I also can't really/won't support another mod specifically moving those planets.

I specifically use Kryzeth's orbit patch as a dependency to be more predictable, as both of us were adding the missing orbit graphics to frozeta. This keeps it cleaner, only one of us needs to be handled if anything breaks and not both. I recommend to just not touch frozeta at all if that mod is there. Someone wants that orbit graphics if it is installed.

I'll add a piece of compat code for some of the other things I'm doing, but unless a gameplay (eg progression changes)/thematic reason is provided, I won't change the handling of secretas, frozeta, aquilo and paracelsin on my side.

I think my argument will be that my changes have a "higher priority" for gameplay, as I try to make things connect/fit together a little better, and give a little more on top of the individual planets. I'll consider it your responsibility because you have either less hard dependencies than I do or, or none at all. You don't organize for crafting chains, science pack usage, or explicit material needs. (with the outer rim frozeta and secretas needs materials from paracelsin)
I think this mod was also breaking the orbital cannon's map view, but I just released the fix for that now.

I also see that you don't retain existing orbits. Panglia for example is not a Gleba moon anymore, moved to a spot where I won't be able to handle it properly later. That will be considered an unsupported change for another project I have in the background. That project involves moshine, panglia (specifically when snouz is back to finish balancing), vulcanus, maraxsis, possibly pelagos and optionally linox. With the exception of vulcanus I expect them to be where they are, or in the case of maraxsis the place where I'm putting it. Moshine and Maraxsis expected to get a hard depependency with their location around the sun (specific space platform mechanics) with Linox possibly joining that.
