When counting a lab towards the total when deciding whether to switch techs, it should only include labs which can hold and use all of the science packs for that tech. In vanilla this isn't a problem, but several mods have their own labs which only accept a small subset of packs. Examples: "Metal and Stars", "Cerys".

If you have a handful of the mod's labs, all filled with science packs, and another tech in the queue for normal labs, it should only decide to switch if the modded labs no longer have enough packs and the normal labs have enough packs for a different tech in the queue. Currently I have to either remove all the techs from my queue other than the restricted mod-specific ones, or manually and repeatedly switch back to the tech I want it to research first, or disable this mod entirely. If the mod only counted labs which can hold/use the science packs for each technology towards the total to see if enough of them have packs, it would solve this problem.

It might also be useful to have an easy on/off toggle for the mod in/near the tech queue, for if one wants to just manually turn off automatically switching for whatever reason, without having to go into Menu -> Settings -> Mod Settings.

Ok, I finally got around to fixing this in the new version, should only count missing science packs for labs that can actually use those science packs. I agree the GUI checkbox would be good but I don't know anything about GUI modding
