Research requirements are a bit over the top for a road mod. The requirements of purple and blue science prevent early creation of road systems.

I was about to create a discussion to ask if this was possible. Blue and purple science requirements are relegating this mod to a purely aesthetic (and not functional) category. When i finally research Asphalts my bots are way faster than any vehicle.

You should read changelog, before asking to nerf requirements: "Added a setting for reduced research cost (thanks for your code snippet, bitbased!)" You just have to in mod's settings check "simplifier research" option and voilà. I think that blue science packs for research requirement are fair enough for these sweet roads. Cheers.
