I have nothing but base game and this mod plus heat shielding for dependency. Deleted mod settings file, tried with and without space age.

Did you manage to fix it? Just got the same error and I'm unsure from your message if you figured it out or not

I just assumed that I'll always want the changes and commented out lines 3, 9 and 30 in the setting-changes file that's in the report.
Or I could have downloaded the older version of the mod and copy the settings file over. I'm gonna do that, actually. ;P

Proper instructions:
Download the older version of the mod and copy the settings.lua file from it into the same place in the new one. It's in the main directory.

That should do it.
Now, to hunt down which mod causes a different crash with this one. Then I'll report that. ;P

Ah... should probably have read this one first... Either way this is fixed also. I'll upload a new version now :)
