All I did was copy one of the explosive files and renamed it to medium-explosion.png The location of the folder is in the base factorio map.

Go to the Factorio directory folder at :\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Factorio\data\base\graphics\entity\medium-explosion\

In that folder make a copy of any of the three images, then rename that copy to " medium-explosion.png "

Factorio is only checking that the file is real. it does not care that its a different file.

Hi there so i tried just copying the file and changing it to .png but factorio is still saying that the file is not there idk if im doing something wrong or what.

Bunkas: There are three .png images in that folder, medium-explosion-1.png, medium-explosion-2.png and medium-explosion-3.png, copy one of them and name it just medium-explosion.png

see iv done that and factorio is telling me the png does not exist despite doing that.

ok i got it to work i kept adding.png to a .png im a actual mong lol

Another solution could be to change the file ammo-projectiles.lua in the prototypes folder and in line 933 change the medium-explosion.png to medium-explosion-1.png

It would be in the mod's zip file.

You have to unzip the mod file and then find the ammo-projectiles.lua. It's in the factorio folder.
Under Windows normally: %Appdata%/Factorio/mods

Another solution could be to change the file ammo-projectiles.lua in the prototypes folder and in line 933 change the medium-explosion.png to medium-explosion-1.png
