There is a shortcut button to select them, which brings up the conrtol menu.
It's not the most convinient method, but it's how the Unit Control mod does it, and I feel the "scout" command is worth the extra click or two.
I can't find that button.
Its in there somewhere. It might not be on your hotbar if you've got a lot of other mods adding shortcuts.
