Can you add related pipes?
moreover,That will be perfect if underground pipes will create a real pipes in the lower layer.
for other layers, can you use only void tiles and can only place item on platforms?
up down railways ?maybe you can get idea form space elevator from Space Exploration.
add layer for other planets in space age
