When a train arrives at a temporary stop, it will be switched into manual mode. If you're riding in a train and send it to a temporary stop via the map in the train interface, and you get distracted doing stuff in map view during your journey, your train will now stop where you sent it instead of continuing on its schedule.

To work around it for now: Pick up your spidertron(s), save, change this value in mod settings and restart game, and put them back down.
