Yet another train manager

A mod to manage a network of train and station. Some stations provide products (item or fluid) to the network, others stations request products. The mod allocate trains to carry product from provider to requester. This mod is highly inspired from the great mod LTN but with a completly different implementaton.

Trains

i Waypoint

Hi, maybe it's not your mod, but maybe you can help me. I have 5 depot stations (same name), but the train route inserts placeholders or (waypoint - temporary) and never sends the train to the free station (as you can see from this image here -> https://postimg.cc/hJSKzWvZ ). If I manually delete the temporary waypoint the train goes to the free station between the 5. Is there a way to avoid these waypoints or can you in your mod calculate the free station?
Thanks in advance for the help

Strange, two trains should not be assigned to the same depot. Can you provide me a saved game ?. I would try to analyze the state of yatm. Thank you. As a work around, you can remove the train in the depot and put it in another depot. Thanks for the report.

I have many mods. I share them with you from my Google Drive, but I don't understand your sentence "two trains should not be assigned to the same depot". I thought you could have multiple stations with the same name (depot or station). I don't remember if it's a game feature or a mod, but when the game creates the train's route it adds waypoints to force the train to pass through a specific track. And that's what prevents you from reaching the i-th free station and creates traffic jams. But basically my idea is to have multiple depots with x number of stations per layout and also 2, 3, 4, etc. request or supply stations (otherwise copy and paste on the stations would make no sense?)

this is a test save to test some mods including yours

Depot name are no impact on depot assignation. When a free train is added to the system or has finished its delivery, it is assigned to a depot station depending on the priority and the train layout. The system works properly only if the number of depot is superior to the number of train. You can also use builder station to avoid multiple depot station.

Thanks for helping me understand some concepts.
So, leaving aside the train building station for now, if I create a train and place it on the tracks without assigning it any station and setting it to Automatic status, will the train be assigned to a route when needed? Meaning I don't have to assign it to a depot?

To add a new train, just route the train to any depot. When the train reaches the depot:
- if depot is free and compatible (train layout), the train is assigned to the depot
- otherwise, YATM find a free compatible depot (layout) and route the train to it, and assign the train to the depot
When a delivery is planned, a train is taken from a depot. It is unassigned from the depot. Then it performs the delivery.
At the end of the delivery, an free depot is selected (generally, the nearest depot from the provider station) and the train is assigned to the depot.

Ok so that's what I do. I create the train and send it to the depot that I know has the corresponding layout. So these temporary waypoints remain that the game adds when to the newly created route and if there are multiple stations with the same name (obviously on different platforms) what I indicated in the shared screenshot link happens
