It's not christmas without cookies ;). The hollow circular or star-ish shaped ones might for example be a good replacement for iron gears. The christmas bauble (Weihnachtsbaumkugel) could be a grenade maybe?

Sadly the photos of delicious real cookies aren't at a good factorio compatible angle. Maybe you can get someone in the community to bake actual factorio cookies (gears, plates, etc) and make proper pictures of them :D.
