How is this mod supposed to work with cargo ships? I am using your other mod that disallows landfill but I am not able to power a pump with electricity as no power poles can be put on the wooden platform
if your goal is to use pump next to oil rig then oil rig provide power to entities placed nearby.
If you want to build long pipelines then this mod exist precisely to not allow that,because that makes ships less usefull.
While at the same time wooden platform still allow to have some infrastructure on water/oil.
Haha fair enough! Was hoping to cluster the outputs of the oil rigs to have a single ship station. Guess I'll do it the hard way then and have ships dock directly to the rigs then. Using your Depths of Navis mod together with VeryBZ and Timeken / Planetfall mods and it's amazing. Probably my favorite Factorio run so far.
