I have fixed + "stream-lined" your mod to 2.0:
Changes:
- updated to 2.0
- moved woodtocoal.lua to prototypes/recipes/ (typical for other mods, too)
- separated recipe and technology
- added German (I speak it) locale
- missing POSIX new-line on EOF added
- added this changelog.txt
- imported change-log from mod page
