Water Belts

Simply allows belts to be placed on water. Additional settings to allow electric poles, pipes, rails, roboports, radars, inserters and turrets too.

I see you've been updating some of your other mods, any chance this will come to 2.0 as well? Allowing pipes on water is nice for games with Dredgeworks and modded ores that require mining fluid.

Hi, thanks for reaching out.

Honestly, this is a small mod that doesnt do much & I would need to rewrite it all since the layer mask API changed between 1.1 and 2.0, so motivation is not at its highest I must admit. Maybe I'll update it, but it is not among the top tasks right now.

Dredgeworks is a nice mod that poses fun puzzles. I recommend embracing the challenge as it was intended by the authors, and if you end up finding too tedious, maybe reach out to the authors and give your feedbacks on that, they're very understanding

Having played a full Very BZ/Islands/Dredgeworks game to completion on 1.1, I confess that I'm startled to see Dredgeworks described in such a way. But even so, I don't think "you just can't mine graphite* without filling in some water so you can run pipes" is really an intended challenge - part of my self imposed limits on that game was to do as little filling as possible. (And while Actual Underground Pipes fixes this, it's somewhat dysfunctional with Space Exploration's spaceships IMO.)

*Or other similar mod ores, but that one stands out in my head because for a significant chunk of game I had seafloor drills left sitting on empty water just to pipe steam to the remaining graphite, which is just too silly.
