Deep core mining

A not cheaty infinite ore mod. Adds ore patches that appear when ore fields are depleted that can be mined with a pair of advanced mining drill to upgrade mining outposts and provide source of expensive but steady infinite ore. Adds an high tech infinite ore mining from rare deep core cracks spawned in the world that require heavy refining. Now with automatic mod support !

so i added this mod to my world later in my run but I'm not sure how the mod decides to place the ore cracks. does it spawn when the resource is depleted, or does it generate with the ore patches?

hello, the ore patches spawn with a small chance when an ore tile is depleted.

There are also deep core cracks that spawn in the world on chunk generation on Nauvis only for the Advanced Deep Core Mining Drill, you can use a mod to force world to regenerated if you want like : https://mods.factorio.com/mod/DeleteChunks?from=search
