A simple question do the rare cracks for advanced drills also spawn on old worlds that didnt have this mod before installation in the new chunks?

Hello,

Yes cracks will spawn on newly generated chunks even in an existing world where the mod was not present before.

If you want you can also install a "chunk clean" mod that will remove all "empty" chunks like this one : https://mods.factorio.com/mod/DeleteEmptyChunks so new one will be generated with a chance for cracks to appear. But beware that biter nests may be spawned aswell so prepare your defenses !

thanks for clearing that question up i alredy had to reset most of chunks with another mod so that wont be a problem but i have another question, do the spawn in other world types because im playing on a world with many islands?

Yes it should work with different surfaces than nauvis.
