Can I install this mod in a existing save?
My future depleted ore patches will be converted in deep core ore patches? And the old already depleted ore patches?
These deep core ore patches will spawn in the world naturally, albeit rarely, as indicated in the description?

Yes you can install the mod in an existing save, however ore patches will only spawn on future depletion (already depleted ore will not have deep core patch placed).

Also Deep Core Crack will appear on newly generated chunks and not already existing ones. You will have to explore or use a mod that force chunks regeneration like : https://mods.factorio.com/mod/DeleteEmptyChunks
