g SE Condenser Turbine

Hello,
I was wondering if there is support for condenser turbines from Space Exploration? From the mod page and quick glance at the recipes in game it seems that there isnt.
If so, would it be possible to add support for condenser turbines? By that i mean a recipe that returns used up steam as water (at reduced efficiency for balance), so that it can be used on planets without water.

i will run some calculations for those water setups, if they really worth it. And about the recipes, u mean more information of steam converter recipes?

Im not sure if i understand your question.
In space exploration there are special turbines, which generate less MW, but return part of used up steam back as water. This is only useful on planets without water, so that you dont have to deliver a lot of new water, but rather reuse it, at cost of reduced efficiency. Basically 100 steam goes in, 99 water & 75% MW goes out, which can later be again converted into 99 steam.
I guess in this mod this could be done in steam converter as a new recipe that returns water (this way you could do it without adding new entities) but generates less torque?

yea, im already working in those recipes, and if they are viable or necessary. i thoug u made two questions but its only one lol. I will bring something till sunday

i made tree new recipes for vanilla and any mods, give some feedbacks latter ty

I havent got the time to test them out, but a quick check of recipes:
Boiling water torque recipe uses 3,5 more units of steam and gives 3 units of water back, which seems to be more water inefficient? It also differs from the others, which seem to give back ~50% of water.
In SE the condenser turbine is 75% energy efficient, and gives back 99% of steam back as water. There is also a more advanced turbine later on which is 99% energy efficient and 99% water efficient.
I think the first point is probably a mistake? Second is a balancing thing. imho the efficiency should be somewhere between those two points as it is lower now. Considering the massive output of the turbines in this mod compared to the ones in SE i would lean more on the higher end, but that would depend on the vision you have in mind. The main goal seems to be compact build, so that could be a tradeoff i guess?

I see, i will run more calcs and may change water recipes latter on, although u need to see that turbines here are over 100% efficient, and im thinking of buffing Brayton torque turbine because of a 100mw turbine in krastorio

I get you, and ultimately it will be up to preference. Ill probably tweak it for myself, because i dont like the idea of water just disappearing.
On a sidenote, I've noticed a bug i think, if i place brayton torque turbine, and then pick it up, i get rankine extreme torque turbine.

thanks for the repply, in fact i will buff the water to about 70% in each recipe, update in the next minutes

Ah nice, that is fast!
