Train Scaling

Automate the construction and deconstruction of your trains! Configure a train currently scheduled for a station as a template for the station - the mod's special train construction station will automatically build (or destroy) copies of the template train on demand, or in response to circuit conditions.

g Crash on Decommission Attempt

(updated 4 years ago)

After a train is constructed the slider resets to 1. Dragging slider to zero gives a try decommission warning.

Am I not understanding how the mod works?

EDIT: The timing on that update was spooky. About to test with newest version.

Can you provide a little more detail about what you're doing, and if you're seeing a crash provide the stack trace? Dragging to zero should decommission the template train, if you want to do that; seems to still be working in a quick test.

I'm trying to make a setup to in theory work with LTN. I have a template train built on a disconnected line and sitting at a station called "DEPOT". In the enable scaling window I can increase the slider and it builds trains just fine. But after it builds a train the slider resets to 1, if I drag it to 0 I get this error. https://i.imgur.com/kAvdxN8.jpg

This is the rail setup I'm using. https://pastebin.com/Vk963TZb

Aha - does the train you're templating off of have a stop with 0 wait conditions in the schedule? The ability to have those no-wait stops is fairly recent and I suspect that code's not accounting for it properly.

It doesn't have a condition. I'll add one and test then.

The condition was only half of my problem. Automatic train painter makes your system have trains forget that they are part of this system--hence why my slider was defaulting back to 1.
